Hi. So a few hours ago I’m “officially done” with the CPA exam.

Can anyone tell me what are the next steps? It’s the AICPA ethics exam and getting licensed right?

For the ethics exam, do I have to buy the book or the ebook at AICPA website for $169 or $189?

And for information on how to get licensed, it’s at the IDFPR website, right? https://www.idfpr.com/DPR.asp

Yep, that’s the process. If you don’t have the experience to get licensed, you can wait for a sale on the ethics exam. But if you can get licensed now, then go ahead and fork it over. It’s not bad – just took about 1.5 hours. The license application is kind of a pain, though. Takes about 2 weeks to process.
