I was under the impression that the first payment of a capital lease was only principal; from perspective of both Lessor & Lessee. I got quite a few MCQ wrong using the Becker materials because i deducted the entire lease payment from the lease obligation.

Sorry for such an embarrassing question.

Why would you think that from the Becker material? Just wondering because I used Becker exclusively and didn't have that issue.
