So I just received my NTS and I paid for all 4 sections in it. I had thought that you had to schedule immediately after you got it. But I did a quick search and it said I can schedule my exam whenever I want within these 6 months. Is that right or did I just misunderstand it? The instructions on the NTS recommends I schedule it within 5-7 days of receiving it.

The reason they suggest you schedule that soon is to make sure you get the testing spot you want. Depending on the prometric location, spots can fill up really quick. You can schedule any exam during an open window within the next 6 months.
