So I have 2 parts passed. Hope to pass the rest of the exam by the end of summer.

I have a year of experience at a CPA firm and got laid off before I started to study while not working.

Once I pass the CPA, I want to move to Florida or Cali to see what it’s like to live down there. Now my question is do I need two years of experience in the same state? Or can I have 1 yr in nj and 1 yr in Cali and be able to get my license.?

State of experience does not matter, as long as you have it. 2 things – signatures have to be original (in CA at least ) . And CA has only a 1 year experience requirement now…plus 150 units of education.

    AUD: 83
    FAR: 77
    REG: 86
    BEC: 86
