[Isostasy]

Hi all,

I currently work for a small CPA firm and I have to occasionally call the IRS on behalf of clients and they have me set up on the IRS account services online with their firm.

However, as I mentioned on another post, I was planning on doing side work and I will need my PTIN and CAF number to call the IRS/ Sign returns.

Can I use the PTIN and CAF numbers for two different firms? I plan on incorporating a business name, getting an EIN, and becoming an authorized e-file provider.
