Has anyone had this happen:

The lady at prometric called and left a voicemail to confirm my test.. EXCEPT that she confirmed my test for Wednesday and my test is this Thursday (she had the time right, wrong day). I went to prometric’s website and I have the right day and so maybe she misspoke, so I tried calling back and no answer, always a voicemail. I left two. I mean this is a very important matter, they never answer their phones. Literally the 5th issue I have had with them during my cpa process.

Should I be worried?

I wouldn't worry. She almost most definitely just misspoke. As long as your confirmation has the right date I wouldn't worry at all.

So I've been following some of your posts on here and you seem like such a great person. I'm really pulling for you tomorrow (your test is tomorrow, right??)!!!

I hope you see this before your exam but just in case you don't, know there's a struggling CPA test taker out here praying for you. 🙂

Vee, that is extremely sweet! I woke up this morning (it's 5:30am :/) and I had a lot of anxiety, but then I read your post and just smiled. It was like a sign from God to just relax. Honestly you couldn't have written that at a better time. Thank you so much, and I also hope the same for you! I pray that on January 27th you walk into the audit exam with complete confidence and low anxiety and nail it! They weren't lying when they said “if you can pass one you can pass them all”

I alway say this prayer called “prayer to st. Joseph of Cupertino” to help me nerves right before the exam.

I hope your test went well on Thursday! Around 11:15 that morning you came into my mind so I said a quick little prayer for you.

I'm really glad I went with my gut and posted that message, sometimes you just need someone to say something encouraging from completely out of the blue. I know sometimes that helps relieve some of my anxiety!

How do you feel after this exam? Or are you not going to speak of it? I'd understand if you just want to put it behind you til you get your score and just focus on your next section.

Honestly, I felt better about the first one. Maybe it is a good sign that the second testlet got noticeably harder, but I really was shocked at how many I flagged. There were two I remembered word for word that I flagged and as soon as I got home I checked if I did them right, and I did. It boosted my confidence a little, but I still can't feel a certain way. I was sure I passed it the first time around, and was shocked I didn't.

Sooo who knows, I thought I passed the first time and got a 72, I feel weird about this one and I'll probably get a 95. That is how I believe this all works lol. It's a free for all circus show.

I appreciate everything you said and the prayer, I find it very comforting and it made me smile so much. Still making me smile. I will return the favor and hopefully you have a more friendly exam than I did 🙂
