    Hi guys!

I will be taking my very first ever CPA test (REG) this coming Saturday.
Since, I have no prior experience on taking tests in a Prometric Center, can any of you please walk me through the process?

I do know that I should bring at least 2 valid IDs and the NTS.

    Few questions:
    1. Do they let you borrow calculator? Is there a process for this or I can just straightly ask them when I get there?
    2. Can I ask for pencil and few pieces of paper?
    3. Can I bring earplugs?

    Thanks!

ProTip – Confirm with Prometric asap that they have received your pencil and paper approval.
It was like pulling teeth for all 4 of my exams. If you call now they can start working on it so it doesn't hold you up on test day.
My center would not accept anything in writing from me, it had to come from their central office, which received it from NASBA.
Call now, and then confirm again when they call you the day before the exam, and get the staff members name.

@recked, I called them right after I read your comment. My center said that they don't need to do anything on their end. I just have to print the approval letter and give it to them when I get there. It probably depends on how lenient one's center is. But thank you for all the help! I wouldn't have known that I can request the paper and pencil if you haven't given me the details!

I think they changed how they handle pencil and paper requests since Recked tested because I also got emailed a form to print out and take with me to my center that's good for 1 year.
