After trying for over a year, I finally got the wonderful news this weekend that I’m pregnant!!! I’m so happy and excited, but I am also starting to get nervous. I have my REG retake May 15th, and I plan to take FAR in late August. Is there anyone here who has studied throughout a pregnancy, and what was your experience like? Ideally, I would like to be finished with the exam before the baby comes… But I am worried that pregnancy symptoms will have an adverse effect on my studying.

Although I am not pregnant studying for the exam, I've been pregnant and working on things almost as challenging. You will be fine. All that pregnancy brain stuff is mainly garbage (for me, anyways). The trick is getting enough sleep, being hydrated, and eating well. Tired and hungry people make silly mistakes whether they're pregnant or not! And believe me, you should have every motivation in the world to get this done before the baby comes!!! Because that will be 1000x harder. Maybe 10,000x harder 🙂

I have a newborn and my life is sooooooo much harder than when I was pregnant. My husband is even in the military. But I plan on getting this done!!!!

Actually being pregnant might unknowingly be the thing that helps you pass these exams….certain things have that kind of inexplicable power.

I personally found being pregnant worse than living with baby. It has been much easier studying with baby than it was pregnant. Yea, I think I'm in the minority, but that has been my experience. If you feel good now I bet you can continue studying and will do great.
