So I took Audit today and obviously have no idea how I did…I’ll give you the relevant facts and see who can predict my score!

Study habits:

I studied 3 1/2 weeks for the exam (I really pushed myself) probably 70-75 hours studying.

I do auditing/tax work for a public accounting firm.

I was able to do about half the MCs on Wiley’s Test Bank averaging a score around 62%.

I was able to go through the entire Becker book, went through flash cards a few times.

Test:

1st testlet – I feel I did pretty well (maybe 4-5 flagged)

2nd testlet – Much harder (topics that weren’t heavily emphasized in Becker/Wiley)..I flagged probably 12-13

3rd testlet – Still felt kinda hard (some of the topics were once again not emphasized) but some of the questions seemed pretty short and maybe it was a medium testlet and I was just unprepared? I flagged maybe 8-9 here.

Sims – Slayed these bad boys. Experience with FAR helped on one, I was able to utilize the AL on 4-5 sims and my experience played a factor in another.

So take a guess at what I get (feel free to post a failing score if you want). I feel like there’s a chance I passed but a greater chance that I tanked it and got like a 65.

No way they grade it like this but for fun: You flagged 27 total. of those 15 we're probably pre-test. Assuming you got 63/75 mcq thats 50 points. (60% divided by 75 * 63) Of the 7 sims one was pre-test. I'm assuming you got 5/6 right. (40% divided by 6 * 5) that's 33 points. Raw score of 83 plus 5 for curve. = 88

I left mine in tears.. had about the same experience except for the SIMS were a beast for me. I was sure I shot myself in the foot for only studying a week and a half – so hopefully your result is just as pleasantly surprising!
