Hi Everyone,

Is there anyone on this forum that know about this program?

Please I’ll need your advise. How solid is their program? I am a

foreign graduate. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I graduated from there in December 2013. The program definitely prepares you for the CPA exam. Most of the professors come from the local business community and the students are mostly older (late 20s to 40s+). You can go pedal to the metal and finish in a year or go part time and take 1-2 years. You get a certificate (it's not an MBA but at least it's something) and you can utilize all the same career resources that the undergrads have access to.

I just finished my post-bac certificate at PSU in June. I think it's a high quality program and a great option for people who decide later that they want to do accounting but already have a bachelor's in something else. (Although I hear that most students in it choose to not actually graduate and just take enough classes to get their credits for the CPA education requirements.)

There is also a masters program with an accounting concentration available, but I don't know much about it.

You do have to get pre-reqs first, so make sure to do your research on what is required.

I didn't go to PSU personally (studied at BYU-Idaho and Boise State), but will be moving to Portland shortly for my new job. One thing I can tell you is that the firm that I will start working for offered a position to someone who had taken post grad classes at PSU, so PSU at least some some respect in the Portland area.
