What are the main differences? Which one do you prefer? I currently use Pfx and am considering a position that uses creative solutions

I use ProSystem fx Engagement as well. I have no experience with Creative Solutions Engagement, but I wonder if anyone here would be able to tell me how popular ProSystem fx Engagement is. For example, what sort of market share does it have among CPA firms?

Our small firm uses Pfx Engagement. The small firm I did an internship for also used it. The other small firm I interviewed with also used it. From that sample size I would say it's very popular with firms in the 5-15 person range.

Just a couple of thoughts I tried to remember as I went through the journey of passing the CPA exams:

I personally like Prosystem fx. The firm my mentor is at uses it, they have a little over 50. The place from my internship used it, we had a little over 100 employees. I know the place I interviewed at uses it, that's a little under 50 people. I currently use it at my firm, and we have a little over 50 people.

I have no problems using Creative Accounting, but I've only used it to do general accounting and I know it wasn't as user-friendly as Prosystem.

Seems like no one really uses Creative Solutions Engagement.

I have used Creative Solutions Engagement and it is great for a paperless environment/office. It is not user-friendly at all and requires a lot of use/training/user-guide reference, however. It works well, but it does take a good deal of time to learn and get staff up to speed on.
