I can’t be the only one with this issue.

I’m really starting to resent friends and family who are jealous that studying gets some of my attention and not them. Yeah ok if they want to financially support me I’ll stop studying right now.

Jealous? hahahha no offense, but the statement sounds a little arrogant. You still want your friends and family to be there when this is over right? Tell them nicely how important this is and keep telling them if you have to. Not the worse thing in the world to have people want your attention.

I wouldn't call my friends and family jealous exactly, but telling people that “I can't go do stuff, I have to study” is getting a little old. Some of my friends are ok with it, and let me know of events just in case I can make some time, but I've noticed that some friends don't bother to call or invite me to stuff anymore.

Any time a person makes extreme changes in their life, whether moving, getting married, having a baby or studying for the exam its tough on those closest to them to adapt. You certainly don't need to isolate yourself to study, and remind those who resent it that it's very short term, in fact the more they support you the sooner they get the old you back.
