Passing the time

So I find myself extremely nervous for this test results. I feel like just when you are about ready to click the “view score” button… all the time. This score release can’t come soon enough. But if I get that final passing score… I don’t know what I am going to do with all the extra time that will be now free. I have already noticed my nights I am almost beside myself not having studying to do. I feel like I should be in front of the computer studying. When I went out of town this weekend I was going camping and grabbed my laptop, my wife soon shot at me, “why you bringing that”… it was pure habit.

Anyone else experiencing things like this? I can tell there is going to be some adjusting after I get that final score.

Unfortunately, I do not think I passed. However, there is that little tiny bit of a possibility. The thought that I/we could be finished is so incredibly exciting, it makes me want to start crying lol

Have faith!!! I scored a 70 on my Becker FAR final, walked out of the test thinking… I don't know if I passed that. BOOM 84! You just never know.

I don't think I will have a problem with not having anything to study anymore. Well I have noticed I was a little bored this weekend but I would rather be a little bored than have to go through this again. FAR is torture. Hope we all get passing scores and get to deal with the boredom!

Never_Give_Up1 – I don't know what to do with myself either. I don't know if I should study to retake audit or if I can move on to the ethics requirements. Supposedly, it takes a week to get the giant packet of paperwork once you get your passing score. Fingers crossed for all of us!

I thought about taking the CIA, CMA, or CFE exams, but my family may shoot me if I jump into another test quickly.

I don't miss study at all. So much stuff had piled up at home, garage, yard, work and all the appointments like dental cleaning, contacts, etc. that got postponed due to 8mo study stretch.

Barely had any decent rest since taking BEC. Hopefully it's cleared, if not October 1st will be retake and no vacation (punishment for poor performance).

However, every evening it feels like as if i'm forgetting something to do or running behind (Becker review “calling”). It takes time to fully recover and it probably going to occur once final/passing score is in my hands.

P.S. On top of all of this, i'm also interviewing for higher position/better pay and had been doing this for the past 1.5 months. CPA exam progress had been crucial for opening several doors, will see what pans out of all of this.

I'm also extremely nervous for score release day!!!!! That being said I have enjoyed myself tremendously for the last few days! I'm so jacked up for football tomorrow and Sunday that I could just scream! I love fall, football (I'm in 2 fantasy football leagues), and craft beer so I am desperate for a pass to close out and enjoy life again! 🙂

Fingers crossed for all of you next week!!!!! 🙂

Is anyone dreading Monday just a bit? I am.

I've been enjoying life without studying so much…seriously I think I had forgotten how good things really are and just accepted the constant study/exam cycle grind misery. I feel sick and slightly hysterical just thinking about shutting life back down for another 6 weeks if I've failed. I'm happy right now not knowing. I realize that I need to pull up my big girl pants and deal with the results if I've failed but that doesn't make it any easier.

I'm going to keep enjoying these next few days of ignorant bliss and see what comes on Monday!

@MintsRGood – I am in the same boat. I told my fiance that once I was done studying I would start working out again since we get married in 3 weeks. I also started my 2 fantasy leagues and am just enjoying my Saturday filled with college football. I woke up at 8, went to work out and I am sitting on my couch thinking I am bored but loving every minute of it. I really hope we both get good news on Monday/Tuesday (being realistic here) but if not, just know that its only one pass away from everything becoming a reality. Enjoy your weekend!!! 🙂
