Here are the pass rates for the cpa for 2015

I cant believe most of these have a less then 50% rate. Im also a bit in disbelief that BEC has over a 50% in every quarter seeing it that the material(at least for me) seems to be the hardest.

I agree that BEC seems to have a ton of material.. almost on parity with FAR. However, from the BEC experience thread, it seems like most people ace the first testlet and my guess is that the written communication isn't anywhere as close to the TBS of the other sections. Given those circumstances, it makes sense that BEC has a higher pass rate.

BEC has to be skewed for one reason only – no SIMs. It was the only exam i passed on my first try and i struggled mightly with the others….

For me, BEC was the hardest to pass. I passed FAR, AUD and REG on the first try. I took BEC three times before I passed! I work in public accounting, thus I had a familiarity with the subject matter on the other tests. BEC was a challenge for me to pass!

Wow at FAR being just under 43% in Q4. It's interesting how Q2 and Q3 seem to be the most popular quarters to pass the exams.
