I want to share great news with fellow forum members. Those that remember me, probably recall that I’ve got my last passing score in September and was working on promotion to reflect that passing.

Well, today less than 3 months later, I got exactly what I was after!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m writing this to encourage others:

    1. To work harder

    2. To dream

    3. To have a plan

    4. To be not timid

    5. To knock on all doors until get results

    6. And to be not discouraged by the failures or faults real or perceived that may stand in your way

Good luck to all my peers from Jan/Feb (initial) FAR study group and those that have joined me during other sections!

Wonder how ya’ll doing post exam?

Thank you guys, still haven't fully comprehend it myself!

Heck, I am still not used to the fact that I did pass the exam let alone scored a desired job where having the CPA exam cleared was one of the pivotal facts in my favor.

@cscpa12, You will be there, hang in there!

    @tough_kitty, Haha!

Can now use cellphone discretely, still no jeans and there are no casual Fridays like other companies. Slight change in that regard. However, the biggest change came in the area of supervision & reporting, better pay and much better benefits and stock options. From now and on I will be mainly free from any immediate supervision and sharing workload with others. Current position involves being in charge & solely responsible for my annually assigned caseload. Job involves a lot of federal regulations and compliance but I have no qualms about it since industry is very interesting (prefer not to name it) and involves cutting edge technology among other cool things.

Passing the exam had opened door for me since it is tough to get in otherwise. Hence, I was so ecstatic when learned I've made it and wanted to share good news and encourage others on this forum!

I've read & posted here a lot during my tough studying days and often spent time on “power weekend” thread whining and complaining about never ending prep and stress of those exams. Guys, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Wow, I just finish studying for the day.. and I wake up at 6am tomorrow Sunday to continue with my subject of the day and I was asking myself why I'm doing this?

Is really good to see this adds, because it motivates people to continue!

    Congratulations for your dream job!
