I was looking into the CGMA. Does anyone have any ideas as to what we should get after passing the CPA

    FAR - 73, 75 PASSED
    AUD - 74, 96
    BEC - 79
    REG - 89! Done. I'm a CPA!!

Depends on your career goals. Do you want to work government, industry, audit, tax, forensics? Etc….

The CGMA was offered without an exam for a while so I've read it was/is just a way to make extra money off a new certification to sell. I don't think it'll help you too much when you're already a CPA. Unless you're just looking to impress by having a bunch of letters in front of your name.

    BEC - 78 (August 2015)
    FAR - 80 (November 2015)
AUD - 73, 67. (Ok I gotta confess I was even more lazy this time around)
    REG - August 27th, 2016

Internal Audit – Finance – CIA & CFE
Internal Audit – IT/External Audit IT – CISA
    Management Accounting – CMA
Financial Accounting/External Audit Finance – Easy but useful certifications, e.g. XBRL, SAP – specific to daily activities
    Finance/Treasury – CFA

Bottom line, CMA, CIA, CFE, are the other certifications that I find to be on demand. CMA and CIA might be a slight challenge, CFE is easier to work on.

    CPA - Since 2015
    CISA - Smashed 2012
    CIA - Passed 2015
