Just found out that I passed my last part, BEC, and now have credit for all 4 parts. Thanks to Ninja MCQ and the audio, only software I needed. I assume that once you pass your 4th part, none of the parts will be subject to expiration? Because the sheet I received still has expiration dates for each part. Just want to make sure the clock doesn’t still run while I go through the process of applying for a license? Will I be receiving another letter from my state board (Guam)?

Thanks for any info…there’s a lot of conflicting information out on the internet for what I need to do next.

Once you're done, you're done….No more expiring parts. You'll probably go nuts waiting for the final congrats and the license application…..Enjoy being done. and Congrats on the pass. Keep rooting for the rest of us.

    It begins with a 75

hohbo, Is it true that Guam is the only state board that does not require 150 credit hours?

    Congrats!

@Martin how did you do on BEC with Roger? I am taking that in January and using Roger. Trying to decide if I should supplement some lectures with Yaeger.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.

@hohbo – If I were you I would contact the Board and ask them about the next steps to take. In my State, I just waited and got a letter by mail letting me know that I had passed all the parts, but I don't know what Guam does.

Chances are that they will just send you the information within a month… but I don't want to make assumptions. And like everyone says, per the all the documentation from AICPA, when you pass, you're done.

ruggercpa2b, I got a 74, but my score report shows comparable and stronger on everything. The bottom part of the score report also shows that I got stronger on MC and weaker on simulations. I ran out of time and did not finish one of the simulations, but I still think is very unfair to score above 80% on an exam that is 85% MC, and still failed. So to answer your question, Roger is enough for BEC based on my score report, but I supplemented it with WTB and I also did around 300 mc questions using ninja right before the exam.

@ruggercpa2b DO NOT SUPPLEMENT WITH YEAGER lectures. I used roger for aud and I just wasn't passing, so I decided to purchase yeager and the lectures were about the same of roger maybe a little less detailed. In the end yeager was a waste of money for me b/c I already had roger. Roger was enough for BEC, the writing component is pretty good for easy point pick up. BEC is one of the areas that doesn't really get updated too much. So just work and rework MCQs.

thanks for the responses everyone. I did contact the Guam board of accountancy and they confirmed that as long as I did not take the exam in an international location, my parts will not expire. I reside in the United States and took them a local prometric centers, but the reason I selected Guam is because

1: my job only cares that I pass the exam for promotion purposes
2: the cost of taking it under Guam was by far the lowest of all the other states (something like 700ish for all 4 parts vs over 1K for many states)
3: Guam does not require an ethics exam
4: the requirement to sit is only 120 hours, and licensing can be accomplished with either 150 hours OR 120 hours and 2 years of relevant work experience, which I already have

people laugh when I told them I'm registered for Guam, but who cares. I've passed and I don't sign returns as part of my job, so it's all good!
