    Wingo!

Found out I passed BEC, with a 84, after studying for 8 days. Granted I have the luxury of studying full time, but if anyone would like a strategy to attempt the same I am more than willing to answer any questions.

I'm interested in your strategy. I just passed BEC but could use help coming up with a game plan to tackle FAR (got a 69). Planning a retake at the end of Q3 but won't be able to start studying until the end of July. Did you pass FAR quickly as well?

    Thanks!

Congratulations! It's a feat! My friend, too managed to pass the BEC by studying for approximately two weeks. She could do so because of the study partner that she had found, and a really strict study time table!

First, I flipped through the book and wrote down all of the formulas on notecards. This came out to around 150 cards. From there I memorized a certain amount each day (I think it was 24). And when I say memorize, I mean MEMORIZE. I was pretty obsessive about it and the day before the test I was able to go rapid fire through the deck.

In addition to the formulas, I spent the rest of my time reading through the Becker book. I have the benefit of being a recent college graduate, so a good amount of the financial/management accounting info was still fresh in my brain.

In a nutshell, I did 0 MCQs and dedicated most of my time to memorizing formulas and the overall themes of each chapter/module. Knowing those two areas also really helped with the memos.

I actually found a “format” for writing the memos, that was recommended to me by a friend. I'll post that below because I believe it was instrumental in getting my passing grade.
