There's a 1 credit hour, half semester computer literacy class at the local community college in my area. I'm not sure if that is a standard class across colleges, but definitely an easy one.

How does this happen? They had to approve my education and transcripts before I was able to sit for the exams.

Do some states verify your education after you pass the exams? That's scary.

@Pumpkins – There are some states that don't require you to have 150 hours to sit for the exam. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that in these states your educational requirement still has to be verified but you don't have to have 150 hours until you apply for a license.

That is correct lsutigers, in the states where the requirements are different to sit for the exam vs receive a license, you only get your credentials to sit evaluated when you apply for the exam. Your license credentials are not evaluated until you send in a license appllication.

1 P.E. class would do it. Many community colleges even have P.E. classes that run on Saturday morning so it could fit a normal M-F work schedule.
