Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly does trending score mean?

My average score is quite low but my trending score is pretty high. I also haven’t even seen a huge number of questions yet. I just don’t understand how the trending score is calculated and what I should take away from it. If I’m trending 82% should I book my test for tomorrow even though I’ve barely studied 40 hours so far and don’t understand a ton of topics?
