@teetee we're in the exact same boat, I think.

LIke I posted in the FAR group, my dog passed away Monday morning and pushing those feelings aside til after Feb 27th. People keep bugging me to “hang out” constantly and guilt tripping me when I say no… until I had to get mean and tell them to F off basically. It seems the closer the exam gets (everytime), the more people want me to do things! Even last night, one of my good friends said “study all day Saturday, then we can go out at night”… OMG, no I can't cus then I am hungover all day Sunday! Then my neighbors were hammered all last weekend, got into a yelling fight outside, playing the loudest music til midnight and I blew up on them. I probably scared them, oops.

Noone can understand how much this f'ing exam affects your life, unless you're taking it.

Yes samdiegoCPA, so true! On Monday, my sister was like congrats, take the day off of studying and BTW, do my taxes lmao!! Needless to say I was given a guilt trip to get it done…lol Tax Cut is a pretty good software for easy returns for only 12.99 to efile 🙂

When explaining to my dad that I got a 74 on FAR and need a 75 to pass… He replied, “oh so you need a C to pass, that shouldn't be too hard.” Mmmhhhmmm… I have a somewhat thick skin about things people say but if I didn't admit I was a little irked by his “only a C” comment, I'd be lying!

So when I found out I passed BEC, I was sure to point out that I got a “perfect score!” A 75 of course!

@Cole–I've gotten than quite a bit too. My husband's family wouldn't know what a college degree was, let alone a CPA. I don't even bother explaining it to them at all. I just say “I'm in school”.
