    I. potentially. might have the option to move my start date up 6 months. Doing so will require me to move 900 miles far sooner than I expected.

    A couple of negatives

    – Getting married Apr 12, 2014 where I currently live

    – I would have to finish my last two classes at school online

    – I have a nice chunk of money saved for the move, I’m just worried about it being enough

    – Fiance wouldn’t have a job as they don’t allow out of state transfers unless you have been with the company and she has only been there three months. However, she never has trouble finding work.

    A few of the positives

-5k bonus to help ease the pain – assuming I pass the next two sections (+1k for exam fees)

    – I will be eligible for a yearly bonus because I worked busy season

    – I will be eligible for a prorated raise because I started mid-year

    – The salary is a lot better than what I get now (I’m sure I will earn every dime)

    – My school has said I can work at my own pace on my last two classes and they would extend them to the end of summer.

Assuming the firm will let me off for a few days to fly back and get married, I think I will do it. I work with PTP’s, so my busy season is mid-jan through the beginning of apr.

Any thoughts or things I should consider that you think I might be missing.

Well, after a long discussion with my fiance this evening, it looks like she wants us to move early as long as the firm can cooperate.
