One of mine is to be able to do one pull up (not a chin up – a real [the hard kind] pull up) before my 30th birthday, which is approaching in just over 2 months. I think I could do 2-3 in elementary school. (I’m open to advice, besides the obviouses of losing extra weight and developing seriously epic lat muscles)

What are some of y’alls goals besides the 3 letters?

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

Many things that I wanted to do after CPA journey:

    1. Photoshop certificate (Adobe Certified Expert): I studied photoshop and went to content several times when I was in high school. I want to do some more study on Photoshop.

    2. Workout: my role model is Bruce Lee (LOL) want to make huge triangle on my back, and lean muscles on my whole body.

    3. CISSP: more accomplishment for living.

    4. Play PC games

But I couldn't do any of these as I am a married man now, and need to take care of family including 5-mo baby 😉

    Currently:
    CPA - Class of 2013
    ALMI (Associate, Life Management Institute)
CISA - Passed in 2011, Certified in 2014

    In Progress:
ASA (Associate of Society of Actuaries) - EXAM P (O), EXAM FM (O), EXAM MFE (X), EXAM MLC (X), EXAM C (X)

Teach my son how to play baseball. He's 2.5 now.

Take my wife on a romantic vacation. Long overdue.

    Have another child.

    Become a CFP/CFA.

Compete in a bodybuilding competition. July 2014.

Shoot under a 90 in golf. Just need some consistency.

I would really love to get started on a young adult fiction book that's been in the works for some time now but I just haven't managed to balance the workload enough to sit down and write it. My passion is creative writing (apart from architecture, art, and archaeology) and so my friends tend to just be baffled at the drastic difference between my career path and my actual hobbies.

I mean, come on, accounting isn't the most exciting field to be in. It's not like you can say, “Oh I've discovered this accounting relic dating to prehistoric times!” Or “I'm going to go hunt some accounting creatures” Or “Let me create an accounting masterpiece!” What are you going to paint? A financial statement? LOL.

Also, plan a trip to Universal Studios since I've never been there. And to Ireland.

Learn how to swim. Because we all know California is going to sink under the ocean one day (according to all these earth scientists).

    BEC (July 2013)
    FAR (OCT 2013)
    REG (NOV 2013)
    AUD (JAN 2014)

The CPA Exam is an opponent that not even the Fellowship of the Ring would want to come across.

    I have a long...long...journey ahead of me.
