MintsRGoodParticipantAll those TD and NONE to Eric Decker!!!! Grrr….I have Calvin Johnson and Danny Amendola still to go for WR on Sunday, so hopefully those guys will pick up the slack. Guess which WR is riding the pines next Sunday? 😉

peetreeMemberI have Megatron going as well @mints.
Whats funny is that I'm in a 12 man keeper league and i traded chris johnson for peyton last year. I kept peyton this year but my buddy let cj2k go free. I drafted chris johnson again (risky). I'm playing this same friend week 1.
I hope to god Chris Johnson lights it up this weekend so I can laugh in his face!

MintsRGoodParticipant@Peetree I made a similar move in my keeper league trading for Drew Brees. That league considers your keeper as round 1, round 2 is determined by keeper ranking (i.e. worst keeper gets 1st pic) determined by an average of top 200 lists, and the round 3 order then moves to random draw for the rest. By keeping Brees, who considered and 8th rank keeper after everyone protects their running backs, it allows me to select the best running back on the board which for the past 2 years has been Jamaal Charles! 😉
My other league is a traditional league and sometimes its nice to start from scratch each year. That's the league where I have megatron, amendola, and decker as WR. I'm forced to start a TE in that league, so I drafted Jimmy Graham. Love that guy!!!
Football>Friendship and also marriage!!!! My husband is in both of the above mentioned leagues and we are super competitive. In fact, I'm playing him in both leagues this week and the amount of smack talk in our house is out of control. When I win both games this week, I will rub it in his face for weeks!!! We are so crazy about football that he actually proposed to me at a Viking/Browns game in 2009. I'm a huge Favre fan and have been for years, he is a Ohio native and loves his Browns so it was very fitting. We live a football life and I love it!

someaccountantParticipantI am up against someone with the Broncos D/ST. I thank Trevathan for dropping his INT for a TD before he reached the endzone…
I still need to decide between starting Vick or Kaepernick this week.

AnonymousInactiveThis is a totally dangerous thread to rabid football fans trying to study for the CPA exam.
I'm a 10-year Seahawk season ticket holder, and we're also flying out to North Carolina tomorrow for the season opener. It's an epic battle trying to stay focused with the season coming up!

AnonymousInactiveI had Peyton Manning, Torrey Smith, and D. Thomas going last night. After a slow first half for all three players, I was a bit worried since my opponent has the likes of AP and Brandon Marshall. But man, after that performance by Denver I think I have nothing to worry about. Even if Adrian puts up 300 and 3 TDs I think I will be safe. I must have an elite fantasy football mind…
