Way OT question, but I’m starting in January with a B4 firm, and they provide laptops on the first day. Would it be ridiculous to request a light laptop? I have some neck and shoulder issues that flare up when I have to carry things over a few pounds on a frequent basis. For school, I purchased a surface tablet to avoid bringing a heavy laptop around. I don’t want to be seen as “needy” or in a negative light, and I could always put the laptop in a backpack, but still. Thoughts?
