Then shovel one more square inch of snow or empty another bucket from ceiling drips! Hang in there folks, whether it’s the exams or snowmageddon we’ll push through. Anybody studying for the exam in New England, bless your heart for the double whammy!

I'd take snow any day over the fun ice storm we got this week : Southerners + ice = disaster. Lucky us, snow is on it's way tonight. Yaaaaaaay.

As a one time event I'd always take snow over ice. But this is 2-3 major storms a week for the last 3.5 weeks. I can count on one hand the number of days I've missed work in my life, and 3 of those were this month lol!

I live in Houston and we don't know what “snow” is? Can someone explain?

Can someone explain how I can punch Waffle House in the face through the internet? I am from South Dakota.

    ^hahahaha

I just ate it hard on a patch of ice trying to help a neighbor get his car unstuck. Pretty sure half of my body is going to be bruised.

    I hate winter.

Well, aren't you two just sooooo special 🙂 (kidding, kidding!)

Despite the horribleness of the winter, there is a bright side —> ice storm = closed roads = “work from home” = three days of studying!

we have no bright side, unless you count my homeowners insurance *possibly* springing for a new ceiling for my two bathrooms, dining room and kitchen and possibly 2 new windows if I'm a VERY lucky girl……….

The snow outside is fine, but it VIOLATED my home, my living space, my sanctuary…BUT theres more fun to come when it all melts and the basement floods! Its like the natural disaster that keeps “giving”.

skynet: “Hey, here in Southern California we're roughin it too. Just stepping out of the house tonight I had to put on a sweather because the temp dropped 8-10 degrees.”

As I put on my third layer of socks, leg warmers, a second pair of pants, and two pairs of gloves.

Every day I go out to my car and pray that when I turn the key my car will start.

Yesterday here in SoCal we had rain. I believe rain is snow in liquid form. So we're suffering as much as you guys with the snow. To top it off, had a brain freeze from drinking a Blizzard from Dairy Queen too fast. So yeah it was rough here.
