Ok, just got back from a quick dinner at McDonalds. While eating, driving/shifting, and thinking of estate taxation, I couldn’t help but wonder what my second family was having for dinner? Double cheeseburger + Big Mac Sauce, McChicken, value fries and a liter of water was tonight’s main course.

My top fast food restaurants would have to be:

    1. In N Out

    2. Carl’s Junior

    3. White Castle

    4. Smash Burger

    5. Five Guys

What are yours? Or what did you have for dinner?

    That's nice!

My ex couldn't cook for squat and would expect me to feed/pay for her while I was studying for this exam!

    1. Wahoo's

    2. Sushi

    3. Rubio's

    4. Pei Wei

    5. Subway

    6. Flame Broiler

My diet is usually pretty bad while studying. Tonight I had grilled NY strip, steamed broccoli, and baked potatoe with butter and cheese. I am trying to gain weight (as in fat) without sugars. I am underweight.

    1. In-N-Out: #2 with grilled onions and a vanilla shake.

    2. Panda Express: 2 entree plate with chicken chow mein, orange chicken, and beijing beef.

    3. Chipotle: Chicken fajita bowl

    I'm getting hungry.

@nextstopCPA-Who's cooking that meal for you? That sounds like a Thanksgiving feast! Yum.

@cashmoney – that is awful! It sounds like your ex and mine would get along famously! It is funny that you brought this up though. With a potential hurricane at my front door, I went grocery shopping and stocked up on junk and quick stuff like deli meat and bread. I live in a very, very small town so there aren't as many choices in fast food.

    1. Pizza Hut

    2. Sonic

    3. McDonalds

    4. Southern Classic Chicken – not a national chain but oh my it's good

    5. Burger King

I think this thread is interesting. I wish I could eat like some of you but I don't tolerate fast food very well. I stopped eating McD's or anything highly processed a few years ago and feel great! I tend to only eat food I prepare (nothing processed) but if I am forced to eat fast food my fav's are Subway, Jimmie John's, Noodles and Co., or Panera Bread. I do break down and order pizza now and then. Yum!

I study at work and there isn't much around here, so I've started making a enough food to feed a small army on Sundays to keep in the fridge at work for lunch/dinners.

So this week is salad with some chicken, fruit, and almonds.

    3. Subway

    Not Franchised but fast:

    1. Any Pho

    2. Any Vietnamese sandwich place

    3. Tacos el Grulense

I've eaten a LOT of pb&js, a lot of ham and cheese and a lot of chips and snacks. Not too much fast food though. I am REALLY getting tired of sandwiches though!!

I also try and cook on Sunday and live off leftovers through the week. Lots of chicken with veggies&rice for dinners, plus sandwiches and salads for lunches. I try not to eat fast food because it can really add up and I just bought a car. But if I do it's Chick fil A, in-n-out and Taco Bell.

Casserole leftovers, Greek Deli and Burgerville when in a crunch.

Almonds and dried cherries for snacks, coffee,

Portable rice cooker with steamed veggies,

    veggie/hummus pita pocket,

    eggs on toast,

    PB&J,

    rice and beans

My “break” often involves trying new recipes, but I try not to get let cooking be too much of a diversion from studying….

Dairy Queen ice cream as a bribe to push through study sessions 🙂
