I feel like anyone who’s currently studying for the CPA exam is automatically on the “nice” list/deserves like 45 presents!

I asked for a trumpet and a new bath robe. Hopefully not to be used too often at the same time,

I agree, while us girls sometimes envision a special weekend or planned ordeal, guys arent always like that! Sometimes these simple creatures just need to pick their own time/day/event to propose. Whether it turns out to be a viral youtube video engagement or just you two at home on a sunday morning, the day will always be special and lovely no matter what 🙂

Mr. Nbad proposed during a 5 day trip we took to Jamaica. I wasnt expecting it at all, I didnt think he was ready to get engaged and I was ok with that. We got there in the affernoon of day 1 and he proposed the morning of day 2. In typical miss nbad fashion I had a big handful of chocolate chip cookies in my mouth when he got down on one knee. I still have the empty cookies wrapper as a special keepsake 🙂

All I want for X-mas is to be able to have time to study and understand the material for FAR (My last exam). I used to dream of me studying for this monster. I'm super excited but scared at the same time 🙁

Is it weird that I don't want anything for Christmas?

I found out that I'm done with the CPA exam yesterday, so the only thing I really wanted – not having to study after work – is a dream come true now.

If I had to pick, I suppose my unrealistic wish would be for my best friend, who lives overseas and who I haven’t seen in person in more than a year (skype doesn’t count), to move to the US. Which is not happening.

On a (marginally) more realistic wishlist – a nice vacation somewhere in the Caribbean, where I would sit on the beach with a fruity drink with a cute little umbrella in it and stare at the horizon all day. But that's not happening either.

So yeah, no realistic wishes this year. Getting a break is enough 🙂

Santa is bringing Mr. Mints & I a treadmill!!!! I've made it to the finals in both my fantasy football leagues and if I pull off a win in both leagues this weekend I'm looking at approx. $750 in payouts+2 championship trophies. Not too shabby considering that a chick has yet to win a championship in both leagues! 😉 Even if I get edged out, I'll still win a minimum of $350 for making it to the finals in my leagues. Needless to say this exam has NOT been kind to my figure, so the treadmill will be the gift that keeps on giving all year! 🙂
