I feel like anyone who’s currently studying for the CPA exam is automatically on the “nice” list/deserves like 45 presents!

I asked for a trumpet and a new bath robe. Hopefully not to be used too often at the same time,

My husband is the resident techie and our last name starts with GR. When he set up Apple TV he named it Grapple. I got the strangest looks when I would tell people about something I watched on Grapple Tv. I think we laughed until we cried when he heard me say that for the first time. Ha!

@Baxter, my husband is a self-made techie too but he has all the gadgets and widgets he wants/needs. Plus he's an Apple-lover and I'm “ehhh” about Apple so I don't venture to shop for any Macbook/iphone accessories. He did ask for Belkin's WeMo outlet plug-in thing……. basically it's wireless or something so you can turn on/off stuff in your home (or outside like X-mas lights) from remote locations with your smartphone. yeah super exciting bro!! ……. 😐

nbad311: Don't even get me started about remote controls. I have ONE floor lamp in the “Mom Cave” and it now has a little remote control. I was like Seriously? The lamp is right next to the chair…why do I need a remote control? They are everywhere…EVERYWHERE I tell ya! Of course, I just smile and say nice things because when the car won't start or the dryer doesn't work…THAT's the guy I want to see coming down the stairs. =)

Thanks for all the well wishes! I don't think it'll be happening around Christmas time, but I'm pushing for it sometime next year! We'll see :).

In all seriousness, I'd love to get a Roku. I've been wanting to cancel my cable bill and just live off the Roku and Netflix. My Mac is too old for the Apple TV Airplay, and I'm not getting a new Mac anytime soon!

Other than that… I don't really want anything else for Xmas!

neika and little – All I wanted was a diamond ring a few Christmases ago and I thought I was getting one (because I might be a snoop and found it, in my defense he hid it very poorly). And then Christmas came and went and he didn't propose till February! He said because he knew I was expecting him too! I did get a very nice Kate Spade bag but you better believe when I opened that big box I was expecting a little one inside and was visibly irritated. Keep dropping those hints ladies and be patient, men need to feel like it was their idea… ha!
