Thanks for responding Jeff, for some reason I'm afraid of getting the iPhone and it not having all of the android apps I like and other things… I will look into it though, T-mobile has some good promotions going on so I will see…

My fiance went from droid to phone and didn't really like it so he went back to droid and got the Motorola Droid Max. Look into it, he has been very happy with it. I have never had a problem with any of my iPhones (4&5) but he had a horrible time, just happened to be bad luck for him.

I have had the Samsung Note 2, a great Android phone IMHO, for about 14 months now and the battery life is average in my experience. However, I am running crap on it all day, namely streaming Spotify (and usually some other big system stuff is always on – namely GPS and wireless). How much battery power are you looking for? My Note 2 would probably last a solid 36 hours with low to average use, starting on a full charge.

If you are looking for extreme battery life, my Nokia 5165 used to last days, I swear! hehehe https://phones.cellphoneforums.net/phonedb/images/Nokia_5165_1.jpg and also you will go straight back to 2002 and probably be subject to being made fun of!

I have a Droid Razr, battery is pretty good–my dad has a MAXX and the battery is ridiculous, if you are not in an upgrade period you can pickup a used MAXX for $100-150

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and the battery life is ok. I charge it each night and use my phone like crazy during the day. I usually charge it in the afternoons to make sure I don't run out of battery, but it would probably last all day.

This phone is quirky; I have had it replaced twice in 12 months. The first time, it turned into a brick for no reason. The second time, it would not charge. Hopefully, the S4 is better, but definitely buy the protection plan. By the way, don't buy phones from Best Buy. I made that mistake with this phone and it is a week long ordeal every time I need it fixed.

I will definitely look at the other phones you guys are recommending.

I love my Droid RazrM. Hubby has the same phone and neither of us has had this problem.
