    Is it just me or does it seems like this forum is dominated by CPA candidates from California?? Perhaps that’s the reason why they made the ethics test so hard! 🙂

    Yah correct me if I am wrong but for the general sign off the partner is basically signing off just that you worked there specific dates and that he reviewed your work.

    I heard of states where the person only has to sign off if he thinks you performed to a certain level. That would of been an issue with the pompous jerk who supervised me at my last firm.

    In California it seems more like an employment confirmation more than anything else.

    I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

    "Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

    Not yet… I applied for it right before Thanksgiving. I'm hoping to get my license # sometime in February…based on the timeframe given by others on this site….Will keep you posted 🙂

    Just got the letter in the mail this week from CBA confirming I passed the CPA exam and listing next steps which I already completed.

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
