Congratulations Peanut! That is awesome news. I am an alumni of E&Y, left the firm in 2006. It is great to have that experience!

I'll be starting at EY this fall as well in the FSO BAP group. We'll see how it goes. I'm more of a finance guy, which is why that group was perfect for me. I just wish I could do the CFA only and forget about the CPA, but everyone tells me I should get my CPA whether I want to or not. So here I am…

@Peanut-my hubby is at EY. I can ask him questions if you had any….lol and he is not one that will shy away from a real answer. Based on his experience I would say every EY office is different as well as each team within that office can either make it a great experience or a horrible one.

At a Meet the Firms event, I decided E&Y was my top choice among the Big 4 and that is where I aim to be next year! Congratulations and please don't forget to share your experience =)

Starting with EY in the fall as well.

To be honest, it's a good firm, but much of the experience will depend on your particular location and even specific team.

I will say I enjoyed my time there when I was interning, and me some really cool people.

Exciting to hear of everyone that is starting with E&Y!! Peanut, I will send you an email. 🙂 I agree with Laura that each office is different, from culture, to clients/industries. But the overall experience, professionalism, and connections you will gain will pay off.
