Online Schools?

One of my clients (they have the highest PIA factor ever!) finally has a clerk that understands what she is doing. She has an AD from a local community college, but no bachelor’s degree. I’m trying to help her find an online school to get her Bachelors. She has very small children and traveling to the closest university is out of the question. Does anyone have any suggestions, other than University of Phoenix? We’ve ruled them out because the tuition is OUTRAGEOUS! I’m hoping I can get her employer to pay for part of it, and they should since they are paying her crap, but I know they won’t touch U of P. Any suggestions?

I went to online schools for both my Bachelor's and MBA.

For my Bachelor's in Accounting, I went to Colorado Technical University. I'm from Colorado; a friend of mine graduated from their brick-and-mortar school in Colorado Springs, so I knew it was a legit school, and not a diploma mill. I paid $30k. It was great for what I needed at the time. However, they are a for profit school, and they are now running TV commercials so it makes me worry that they are trying to turn into UofP.

For my MBA, I went to Northeastern University. I did not want my Master's to come from a school with the word “Technical” in it's name which is why I didn't go back to CTU.

I looked up Harvard, found what their accreditation is, then searched for a school with the same accreditation that offered online MBA's in Finance. I paid $60k for my MBA (or well student loans did…), so it is more pricey than CTU.

    F - 47, 78! 🙂
