how hard is it to find or get days off from your new job so that you can take your exams? I have been working at a dental laboratory for almost 3 years now, I’m not really doing any accounting work except billing/invoicing and that’s not really much. I’m hesitant that my future job would not allow me to take days off being fresh on board. But, I’d like to get my feet wet and get on it since it’s where I want to be. So, to those who have experience like this how do you manage transitioning from one job to another while in the pre-CPA mode? Thank you in advance!

Depends on the future job. If it's an accounting job, they may allow days off for exams (as they want to support you pursuing the CPA).

If it's a non-accounting job, or a role that is below that of staff accountant, then they may not allow you to take additional days off for exams.

Outside of that, you'll have to use up your own PTO/weekends/etc to do it.
