    I’ve been a huge fan of Trance music since I was in the 5th grade (2000) with my first encounter with “Better off Alone” by Alice Deejay. Ever since then, I never turned back to mainstream music and was utterly obsessed. Any other [soon to be] CPAs out there who share the same passion?

    Recently I’ve been listening to a lot of stuff from 1999-2004 mainly from Paul van Dyk and some of Armin van Buuren.

    REG = 58 (02-20-13), 75 (05-01-13)
    AUD = 67 (05-29-13), 79 (08-29-13)
    BEC = 83 (07-31-13)
    FAR = 72 (10-29-13), 69 (02-27-14), 73 (04-16-14), 81(08-13-14)

    Study Materials = Becker 2013 + Wiley Online Test Bank

    I almost sh*t my pants when I saw this thread just a second ago… I am new to this site but not new to trance music! @kudawudashuda I guess I'm new compared to you though… I started listening to trance as an undergrad in college abt 3 years ago and haven't stopped since. I'm glad it's still around (kinda sorta, not really the same as what it once was back in the early AvB, Tiesto, Above & Beyond days, but there are still some innovators) because tt's the perfect study music, especially because it adds some emotion to a topic (studying for the CPA exam) that is basically otherwise devoid of it.

    It's great to see there are still fans of trance out there… I've tried to convince many, many people to listen & enjoy it but most of them just don't have the patience! For anyone interested in getting more into trance, there's still plenty of great artists putting out great trance… some of my faves other than what have been mentioned are Orjan Nilsen, Andrew Rayel, B.T. (a legend), Alex M.O.R.P.H., Andy Blueman, John O'Callaghan, Soundlift… there's too many to name.

    Btw, kudawudashuda, I'm not afraid of 138! Lol – have you heard “We Are Not Afraid of 138” by Rayel and Alexandre Bergheau? Massive. Study on!

    DELAWARE

    AUD: 74 (7/2014) 76 (11/2014) PASSED! USED YAEGER AND NINJA
    BEC: 73 (9/2014) 76 (2/2014) SO FAR SO GOOD! USED NINJA AND WILEY
    FAR: Will take after tax season (can't wait)
    REG: Cue overly dramatic impending-doom music (will take in 2014)
