    It was suggested that I start an Off-Topic thread so that people didn’t need to start a new thread every time.

    I wouldn't go to find my father if he was tossing and turning on his death bed. I think there should be a CPA-type exam, with work experience, for bearing/fathering children. We need a bit of reasonable assurance before we let some people become parents. I apologize for those harsh words.

    CPA - Since 2015
    CISA - Smashed 2012
    CIA - Passed 2015

    @mystical guy

    I agree about the exam to become a parent…there are a lot of people who really need this.

    I was very lucky: I had my daddy for a relatively short time but he was the most caring, patient, and loving father any girl could have asked for!!! πŸ™‚

    @mystical Same test needed for both parents….it's ridiculous to see the “parents” that are out there in the world. I'd almost support something for a 100% effective birth control for both guys and girls that's mandatory at the age of 10 (just to make sure there's no early accidents πŸ˜› ) and that you have to apply and be approved to be taken off of it!! The area that I live in has a lot of people who rely on governmental benefits…and I'm not wanting to start a debate about those…but there's many people around here who pop out kids just to get more WIC, food stamps, and EIC…and the parents are usually o ndrugs, so the kids are born disabled, so then the kids can draw SSI too! If you can't support yourself, you shouldn't be popping out kids just to get more free handouts!

    Birth control at the age of 10??? Isn't it a bit too early?? Or is it “welcome to the 21st century”???….. life was so much easier back in 1980-1990's….
