Hello,
I live in NY and have been working for a family office as a senior accountant for the past 4 years. I am nearly done with the CPA exam and have 150 credits. My supervisor is not a licensed CPA so I will not be able to get the required experience in NY. I was looking at the new NASBA cpa experience verification service and I believe I would be able to get licensed in one of those participating states ( Virginia). I see that I would not be able to get a License in NY by endorsement (transferring the license) due to the fact that NY requires 4 years of post licensure experience. However, can I still practice through CPA mobility? please let me know. Thank you!
