Depends on the state you applied. Have you received your NTS yet? If so, there is an expiration date listed for each exam on there. Most states are 6 months until expiration. There are a few that are shorter and a few that are longer periods of time. For example, I'm in South Dakota and our NTS is good for 12 months.

Have you already applied for your NTS? You can apply for each exam separately. That's how I do it. It's the same cost per exam (for SD), whether I apply for one or all 4. It only takes me about 1-2 days to get my NTS after I apply.

For finishing the exams in 6 months, that depends on your situation. Do you have the time to dedicate the study hours to these exams? Keep in mind, that there are blackout months for testing. Example: This quarter is July, August, and the first 10 days of September. Then you can't test again until October 1st.

from what I know it is 6 months. You could possibly squeeze two sections into 6 months but I wouldn't recommend paying for all 4 parts with one NTS and then not being able to do it….
