Does anyone not go out at all while studying for the CPA exam? I am going to begin studying full time this summer, so if I study all day during the week (job starts in fall), I might have time to go out and party on weekends. But is anyone that committed that they just don’t drink and stay focused studying the whole time?

When I was studying I would go out probably once every two weeks, but I would just monitor how much I drank and how late I stayed up. It's the day after that can kill your study time. If I was hungover or didn't get much sleep I would not be able to concentrate on studying at all. I definitely think having a social life is important to keep from going insane. Basically just find a balance that seems to help take your mind off it when you are burnt out but at the same time doesn't distract you from the bulk of your studying.
