    No one really knows how hard it is to work 12+ hour days and then go home to study for the exam right after until they’ve done it. No one outside the cpa community knows how humiliating it is to study your ass off only to fail.. once twice.. 3 times..

    i guess what im trying to say is no one outside the community knows how hard this exam is..

    You're Damn Right berrygoose. For me, just plotting World Domination is a full time job itself. I mean I have to plan the whole thing. The logistics itself is a total nightmare. Plus since I have Minions working for me, I have to make sure I follow OSHA to make sure they have a safe working environment otherwise it's fines and penalties.

    How humiliating it is to spend all this time studying to fail, i agree. I'm 2 for 2 with fails and on to my 3rd, waiting for score. It's crazy to think that I can spend so much time studying to not pass an exam. This certainly isn't something they had to you on a silver platter. It makes the feeling that much better when you're finished. I'm hoping that time will come this year.

    @THendry:

    At least you're sticking with it, and not giving up! That amounts to a lot! I haven't taken my first exam yet (4/4), but I admire the ones I read about on here that face adversity, and then you read about them in the “all done” thread. That is so cool!

    Trust me…people know how hard the CPA exam is. I worked at a big four firm and came into industry and all of the functional areas respect the CPA (marketing, sales, IT, operations, finance).

    FAR - 81
    AUD - 77
    BEC - 77
    REG - 79 DONE!
