Good Afternoon!

My CPA application is signed, sealed, and delivered and I am waiting for approval. Since I have more free time now than I’ve had in years I’m thinking about CPE

-Do most states waive CPE requirements your first year? I’m in MI so I would love for someone from MI to share their experience.

-I work in industry, so taking time off and asking to be reimbursed for CPE is tricky. Does anyone working in industry want to share their tricks? Whats the most convenient, cheapest way to earn in-person CPE? I know big firms offer free CPE online but I still need to do 20+ hrs in person.
