Need some advice – one large client vs. several small clients

I am starting at a big 4 firm in the fall and filling out some surveys regarding industry/client preferences, etc. I am curious whether people enjoy working on primarily one big audit engagement or a number of small/medium engagements. Seems like there are pros and cons to both but would like to hear what people have to say.
