So I was just talking to a friend about the process of obtaining the state licence. He was telling me that NASBA has been sending some “official” document that has your score on it when you pass and that the paper is like watermarked and whatnot so that way the state board knows it is official… Soooo I have no clue what he is talking about. Any paper I have received from them I just chucked because it did not look like anything that was supposed to be kept. If anything came in it looked like when you receive a failing score, just with your pass score. But honestly I don’t remember getting these so I am a bit perplexed.

Do they still send these “official” papers out? Or are they just doing it online now? If they are still doing the papers, it looks I will have to be making some calls.

I remember getting a document that looked like the email you get. I do not remember if it is water marked. The state has my scores so I did not keep them.

I received my final score this weekend. It is on paper that is watermarked but not the traditional watermark….You can look at the paper tell it is different from the standard copy paper

NASBA gives your official score packet directly to the state…if they send you anything its for informational purposes. If you are worried call NASBA and speak with your state coordinator and/or your state BOA.

I have found the people at both organizations to be very helpful.
