I had 4 interviews this morning! There were 4 people interviewing at the office and another one was interviewing remotely through a Skype type thing. Initially we all thought that it was going to be a group interview… Luckily it wasn’t.

It was mostly conversational. The partner seemed to really like me. We had a lot in common. I feel I had things in common with many of the interviewers.

I curled my hair and wore it in a bun. I wore all black (blazer and skirt not a technical suit) with nylons and heels. Lol. Just thought I would throw that in since it was the origination of this interview update.

I am optimistic, I should hear back in a week or so. I have had interviews where I though it went great and they chose another candidate. If it is meant to be it will happen.

Hey I am rooting for you and I hope you get the gig. I am sitting here anticipating a variety of questions to be asked on Thursday. Keep us posted and I will do the same!

One day I will face that exam.

I'm rooting for both of you! I just started my first job as a staff accountant today and I graduated three years ago. These things take time but if you keep at it and keep going for it you will get it eventually. Fingers crossed for both of you to hear good things.

Thanks ascott! I got an email from the recruiter today… The partner wants to meet with me again. I think it is a good thing. This will make 7 interviews for this role! Aye.

Good Lord I thought the three I had for the job I just started was a lot but seven? Man I really hope you get it after going back and forth so many times.

After 7 interviews, if he asks you in the conference room and wants you to meet his partners, then you know the relationship is starting to get serious : )

@Skynet – Bwahaha … If the partner was a guy then I would seriously be concerned. Whatever gets me a job … j/k.

I met with 3 people who interviewed me again today. They were the same people form Friday, but we met in a different city. It was much more informal and it was a group setting, not individual and it was at a coffee shop (well we met at the office first). The partner really likes me. We have tons of stuff in common. I think that I hit it off pretty well with all of them. However, that is never a for sure thing … I just know that if I don't get the job that it won't be personal. The partner did say that they are very interested in me or else they would not have bothered to bring me in again and I should hear from them soon. She also said all the candidates were very intelligent and talented which was making their decision harder.

I really hope that I get the role … seven interviews is a lot to put someone through! Especially for entry-level …
