    Hello
i got 60 on FAR after studying for a 4-5 month on and off full-time
and I have already scheduled Audit at the end of October 2018 (in 47 days)
the problem is that I have only 14 days to study full-time before starting my first job.
should I move on to Audit and try?
or waste the NTS and schedule FAR in December 2018?
note: on the FAR exam I got sims in the areas that I’m weak in.

    regards.

I’d push the tests until you feel like you’re as ready as you can be. FAR and AUD are both difficult. AUD is very concept heavy so if you’re better at theory, maybe?! But personally 60 in FAR shows that there are more than one or two weaker areas. I’d completely start FAR over and nail the concepts! Maybe study more hours per day and less time? 4-5 months is a long time to retain the level of detail necessary for FAR. Not that it can’t be done but maybe 3-4 hours a week night and 6 on weekend days for 2-3 months would be a good strategy?

FAR: 65 (still drying my tears) 2nd attempt: 7/2016
BEC: 81 5/2016 (WOO FIRST PASS!)
    REG: 5/2016
    AUD: 8/2016

I studied for 4-5 because I had to wait for my application acceptance and NTS.
and when its come to memorization, I have to rewrite everything in order to memorize

btw i've scheduled Reg also, should I take regulation instead of audit before NTS Expire ?
i can't decide because i havent seen the material yet, I'm going to buy one part of becker today.

It's cheaper to buy all 4 parts and if you are using Becker, frankly you are going to need them all. I agree that 4-5 months is way too long…I would plan to put in at least 25-30 hours a week while working in order to prep for FAR what review course did you originally use?..You could prep for AUD In 47 days… And just because you start working doesn't mean you stop studying:) LOL It is conceptual but for some people it makes it much easier…. (not saying any of this is easy). I always applied to one part at a time because I could never take more than 1 part per window…

I have to agree with everyone else. 4-5 months is way too long. I also made the mistake of studying before getting my NTS and scheduling my exam and ended up studying like 3.5~4 months. I def felt myself cramming towards the end on a lot of stuff that I studied in the very beginning. I'd shoot for 2-2.5 months at most for FAR. Also consider following the Ninja framework.

Audit covers a lot of FAR basics so I think you should try to pass FAR before moving on.

NaNa – if it's your first test, it can take time to get into the swing of things. While I agree that 4 months is a little on the long side, don't beat yourself up, you're learning more with each exam and sometimes it takes a while to get through the materials.
If it were me, I'd take AUD as scheduled. Why waste money? Might not want to take my advice though, I moved on and haven't been able to pass FAR so I've lost credit on exams I've already taken.
It might be valuable for you to really examine your study habits and what works best for you. It's hard to figure that stuff out.

    Good luck to you!

I am waiting on FAR results, and I don't feel like I am going to pass. But, deciding to move onto AUD anyway. You never know if taking a break to hit the other subject will help you even more.
