It can be hard to be motivated to study. But I remind myself that someday I won’t even remember what I could have been doing instead of studying. I will however be glad I passed this stupid exam, hopefully!

I found writing a few motivational quotes or words on a large index card, and keeping these index cards in my line of sight while studying helped me.

On a 4×6 index card, I had in big block letters: “CLEAR EYES. FULL HEART. CAN'T FAIL.”

On another 4×6 index card, I had written: “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. – Philippians 4:13”

14 months later, I was a CPA.
