I truly want to start my accounting career in public accounting. I’m a mom and have no accounting related experience (I have worked, just not in accounting or business).

I am making a lot of headway in obtaining an entry-level position at a number of CPA firms in my geographical area. I have mainly been in pursuit of audit roles, but I feel that it may be better for my family if I go into tax.

Any opinions, either way?
