Is it March 8th yet??? I am totally struggling to stay focused on other stuff. If I pass, I am DONE! 🙂 If I don't, I have one more attempt with REG before losing FAR in May.

@Spartans92 I passed FAR once, and I will pass it again. Becker lectures, reading the book, handwritten notes, Ninja notes, MCQs, flashcards, and I'm listening to lectures while in traffic. I'm not sure I can be prepared by March 8, though. If I don't get a good score on my practice test by Monday, I'm rescheduling to take it in the new format. Yesterday I got 60%, so I'm close, I'm nailing Government and Not-for-profit, but weak in several other areas. I'll see how much I can get done this weekend since I knocked out the difficult stuff first.

    My status changed this morning
ITs now “BEC Attended: 02/28/2017 07:37:00 (score pending).”

So it appears Ill get my scores on the 8th

@ReachingFOrTHeStars – I use Roger also and I incorporated the ninja flashcards on the iPhone ( I wish it came out earlier than 2 weeks prior to my test ) and loved it. I was thinking about supplementing Ninja NOtes/MCQ or some combination. Did you feel it was difficult to match up the lectures/questions that you just watched from Roger to the Notes or MCQs?

@JesseD,hey! There were questions in Ninja that was not covered by Roger, but I felt that Ninja's explanations were great. If I did not understand it, I created a flashcard in Quizlet for it and used the homework helper. I would highly recommend the Ninja MCQS and Ninja audio to be used with Roger. (To me, Ninja notes and audio are about the same, so I prefer the audio.) I hope I answered your question. Good luck 🙂

    Your Audit score is impressive.

I plan to take mine in April and curious about any advice or tips of success you have to offer.

@QueenCPA, I can tell you what I did for audit and hope it can help you find what works for you. 🙂
    * I found out that I learned more in the mornings before I got to work. So I would study in my car using a tablet and the hotspot on my phone.
*I would watch the lectures and follow with my book. Write notes in the margin for later use.
*After watching the chapter, I would create flashcards in Quizlet for the chapter. Then completed the Roger IPQs. Repeat for each chapter.
*I started to listen to the Ninja Audio after I have done the above in my car and at bed time.
    *2nd round on the IPQs
*Final week, did the Roger Cram and Ninja MCQS.

***In order for me to learn during the IPQS and MCQs, I read out loud So I can hear myself. I also asked myself why would I do A and not B,C,Nor D. It's a lot of work, but I don't have experience in auditing and I wanted to pass.

Oh yes, my weekends hang out is still the library with mini-me until I pass the final two exams.. While I am studying, she is doing her homework.

What I have put on hold:
Gym,lunch with coworkers, going out with friends on the weekends, maybe other things as well. However, I did give myself an hour a day to maybe watch a tv show or read a magazine. This was to keep me sane. 🙂

    Hope these things are helpful.

I took REG on 2/23 so am anxiously awaiting 3/8! It was my 2nd time taking, since the first time my software crashed when I was in the middle of my 5th TBS. Just need the 75!

I heard somewhere that the 1am EST release is for everyone except those in California, which is 6am California time. Is that true???

    Hello Future CPAs,

I took FAR for the 2nd time on 2/28/17 and i am wondering if i will receive my hopeful passing score on the 8th. This time around exam was harder after the 1st testlet and SIMS were ridiculous.

I found this info on the NASBA website:
    Status Date: 03/02/2017
Details: An attendance record for one or more sections has been received.
Does it mean that Prometic did not submit the test before 11.59pm ?

    Thanks!

sorry @andito0527 in CA we don't use the NASBA site so I'm not sure.

I'm in the could-be-done-on-March-8th boat and I want to be sick. @re2pect – I've been thinking about something you wrote last week – if I don't pass I have no idea how I'll restudy. I didn't walk out feeling like I understudied anything. I just feel like I got worked. I'm terrified for Weds. Lord have mercy on us all!

    BEC - 74, 77
    FAR - 72, 71 (retake 7/29)
    REG - 69
    AUD - Q4 '16

    CA Candidate
