Does anyone have clarity on how to make sense of these scores. How exactly the scoring is done as it is not percentage correct. My score report says –

The score represents your overall performance on the identified examination section. Scores are reported on a numeric scale of 0-99, with 75 as the passing score. This scale does NOT represent “percent correct.”
A score of 75 indicates examination performance reflecting a level of knowledge and skills that is sufficient for the protection of the public.

What exactly does it mean. How can you make a calculated judgement after you have taken a test whether you may be able to pass.

@abhicpa, Grading is a mystery PERIOD….If anyone says they know for sure, take it with a grain of salt because the AICPA refuses to say, thats why you dont get your graded paper back….
