I am in the same boat… waiting on my dreadful FARscore and hoping to be done with the exam!
@slackergurl – how would you compare the second time you took FAR vs the first? this was my first time taking FAR so I have no clue what to compare it to… it unfortunately seemed like all my testlets were easy
@chynablue- DO NOT check your score before taking FAR. You need to focus all your attention towards the exam and don't need any distractions. Your score will still be there when you get home.
I'm also in that boat with ya @slackergurl and @iceman6. Took far on the 27th and I'll be done if I passed but boy was that thing brutal. The MCQs were almost exclusively conceptual (no math). Jeez! It's like they knew how to hit me.
I'm praying for a pass but preparing for it to go the other way. I felt neutral when I walked out of the test center (which I always do), so maybe that's a good sign. It has been the past 3 sections. I'll keep hoping so anyway.
@RWeThereYet – the first time I struggled more with the MCQ's. I think part of my problem is that I have a hard time focusing on answering questions for 2+ hours. My mind starts to wander. I generally do better on Sims because they're more engaging. When I took it in November, I had weaker performance on MC and stronger in Sims.
This time, I definitely felt the second MC testlet was more difficult than the first. The third was not as difficult as the second, but was more difficult than the first. Honestly, when I go through that third testlet, I was pretty excited and figured it was in the bag. But of the 7 sims, 3 were for fairly obscure topics that I was unsure of and one was on my weakest subject area. I felt pretty beat up when I left.
